Mission
- To promote a spirit of warmth, unity, friendship and fun within the North Shore Jewish Community through religious, social and educational activities throughout the year.
- To allow women an opportunity to learn and become involved, each at her own level of comfort, so that we may all experience personal growth.
Our current membership consists of approximately 45 women. The Har El Sisterhood organizes a variety of activities, including:
- Family Dinners
- Life Cycle events e.g. Sukkot, Simchat Torah, Chanukah Party and a Community Pesach Seder
- Movie Nights
- Kosher cooking Classes
- Book Club
- Educational sessions on timely topics
The next Sisterhood event is a Movie Night on Monday, February 27 at 7pm. This night will feature 3 short films, including one by the son of one of our congregants. Refreshments will be served. See the calendar for details.
